Creature Poem by Amanda Deupree

Creature

The brown eyed creature of charm and despair
Has attackingly seduced me
Viciously spewing venom of desire
I think I trusted his sympathy
You are my creature of solace
You laugh secretly with toxic rhyme
Your poisonous disguise is pointless
I'm wise to end your false love
Alas, I am self-righteous
