Shadows just keep on falling
Just like the autumn leafs
Darkness takes the best of me
The way it takes hold of the daylight
Steals my smiles, kills my joy
Gives me a lump, dirt in my eye
Tears were flowing freely
Like the river i first time saw you at
Shadow my best friend, the one who knows everything
Moonlight my only shine, the one that i bare
Like a vampire, yet i seek no blood
Like a creature of the night, yet i want no harm
I'll only attack you with my heart
Only desire your care and adore
Only want to feel your touch on my pale skin
To make me melt from within.
