Cremated - Poem by Edward Kofi Louis
The descendants of Canaanites,
Driven out as they should have been;
But they cremated the body of their leader!
And like the riches and the cares of this life.
We supposed to set an example for them to follow,
For they are suffering because of the sins that they have committed;
And to commemorate an event to be celebrated,
But a man-made feast is all that they know.
