Cricket And Bullets Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Cricket And Bullets

Cricket and bullets

Three wars and holocaust
How many lives have been lost?
Since seventy years we are trading shots
People die and whole of area turn into ghost's soul

Such a hatred is seen no where
When my country is committed to dare
For non violence and federal set up for all
Pakistan has preferred and housed terrorists to give call

We had invited artists
But they involved and played against national interests
How can you feel good when solders are killed?
What their souls may be feeling when you are on cricket field

Enjoying game means offering dishonor
It is not against such lovely game but against terror
You can't claim innocence for such wounds
Soldiers never question but their honor is not found

The divisive forces talk double
Incite people
Increase atmosphere of hostility
It is national pity

Politicians add poison
There is increase of hate for various reasons
Let us look after local front
We have no option but to bear brunt

Cricket And Bullets
