Cried
As we moved together
In the rhythm of love
Our souls touched so gently
And we lay in our tranquility
As one
But free
And cried those happy tears of love
Together.
As we moved apart
In the rhythm of life
Our hearts still beat in time
And I lay with just a lonely rhyme
As one
But trapped
To cry those bitter tears of love
Alone.
