Criminal Derelict Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Criminal Derelict

Languishing in a pool of disagreement and anger,
wanting someone to disappear and hoping it will
be soon enough.

A sinful and crotchety man, rich because he keeps
selling his restaurant over and over, knowing the
new owners will not be able to keep it.

Always getting it back again, a criminal derelict,
charging too much for food and drinks, a greedy
selfish man indeed.

No heart for another, no compassion either, just a
sinful old man forever greedy and in it for him-
self only.

Living in a disgusting attitude, praying to never
ever be anything like him at all in this life, his
clientele all good, honest people with big hearts.

Wonder if he even gives a damn about those who keep
him in business.
