Crimson Sky Poem by Vihanga Bandara

Crimson Sky

Scarlet rain streaks through the air
Bleeding, falling, through passage of the night
Moonlight hiding, concealed beneath clouds
The crimson sky flows,
Painting the emptiness in your heart

Paling voices sink through the light
Screaming, struggling, unheard by all sight
Horizon calling, chained at ocean's edge
The azure sea holds,
Trapping the despair in your mind

Endless hope rises through the void
Reaching, holding, yet unfelt by all life
Open your heart, and unchain your mind
End the journey of the crimson sky

Horizon calling, chained at ocean's edge- - - an extraordinarily well written line, original and vivid!
