Today's choice is an amazing poem 'A LOOK' by esteemed poet Smruti Ranjan Mohanty.

How do you define an image chasing images conceiving these to be the reality?
How do you define an image running after a mirage (image) to quench its thirst
when both don't have any existence?

Deep thoughts put in simple words.

We all are images, in our own eyes and in others.

We get influenced by their powerful representation and influence others through them.

We pursue an image and emulate them. Similarly others emulate us.

We all get inspired by them.

However there are some images which are a result of deep emotions.

Fear, anxiety or lack of mental balance could also cause deep impact in our psyche that causes the mind to hallucinate.

Just like a dream, they seem very real to us that it makes us pursue it and in extreme cases leads to total loss of reality.

The act of knowing physical reality and deep mentally hallucinated fake reality is for many of us is a life long struggle.

Many won't even realize the difference.

It's true that one has to dream something to make it occur but it is also true that, if such a dream or wish is not supported by understanding of the feedback that one gets, that is backed by an intelligent and well balanced mind, it remains fluke and the results too would be disappointing.

So, one must always be aware of the feedback that his or her own environment, the conscious self provides.

One will always be chasing a mirage and the end result will be heartbreaking without backing by an understanding of the universal law of cause and effect and it's true meaning to help self to evaluate, contemplate and act upon the results of our actions
