Cuckoo ~ Kukavica Poem by Jankovic Zoran

The cuckoo loves to leave the egg to another's nest,
but, at the moment of weakness, she wants to touch it.
Then bowed head and moaned that she hates herself.
She, in fact, just feel sorrow for her cast
on the stage of life in the blurred mirror of reality.

She does not have the courage to win her ego,
to give someone what he misses.
The cuckoo takes only what she needs.
She is a fault of nature and therefore can not
to love others because she only loves herself.

Kukavica

Kukavica voli da ostavi jaje tuđem gnijezdu,
ali, u trenutku slabosti, poželi da ga dodirne.
Tada pognute glave jaukne da mrzi sebe.
Ona, ustvari, samo sažaljeva svoj lik
u zamagljenom ogledalu svoje stvarnosti.

Ona nema hrabrosti da pobijedi svoj ego,
da da nekome ono što mu nedostaje.
Kukavica uzima samo ono što njoj treba.
Ona je greška prirode i zato ne može
da voli druge jer voli samo sebe.
