Curly Curls Poem by Amanda May Moore

Curly Curls

Beware of what beholds the hair
It sure can be pretty but can give quite a scare
You may wish to have curls
All the volume along w/ the twirls

Beware I say
For you’ll pay
There will be a day
That they will not stay
And without delay
You’ll wish you kept them at bay

Beware I repeat once more
Please do not ignore!
I don’t want to say once more
Listen I implore.
For curls are nice to adore
But they are such a chore.

Beware of the curse of curls!
Beware of those pretty girls!
Beware of your envy!
For I guarantee
That they envy you
Listen, ‘tis true.

The plight of women.......we are never satisfied with are own hair.....I have poker straight hair and spent years paying for curly perms.......now I just live with what I have.....nice poem though
