Curly Leaves Poem by Stefan Splawinski

Curly Leaves

Rating: 5.0

far from the stress of modern life
countryside place of peace for us
between meadows and dorset downs
easily reached by the village bus

somewhat mentally challenged are we
poor people who do not feel so sad
in this place we all fare so well
only those beyond the gates be mad

such friendly staff for us provide
basket weaving and gardening pride
fully funded by the national health
wish we never are moved outside
