Punctuate my procrastination with wavelengths and violently
pull me to another story where it's being cut
my heartstrings. My body crouching because above my larynx
it's wrenching.
My eyes closing.

And I'll want to follow this steady beat to its very ending.
Who ever cared about ear hair cells when in every exhale
I'm bathed in feelings?
It doesn't even have to be in English.

A mixture of notes put me in choke-holds, I'm disarmed that it's
really this emotional.
I'm losing oxygen in this voluntary swooning
It's almost sinning; my audio haven - this
wonderwall.

So mess with my senses, go on
make me senseless, my mp3 contraption.
turn back time to the 80s, infiltrate me once more of
everything Disney.
Where Vitamin C equals high school
Where savage garden means flirting with unreachable
ideals.
And foreign songs kept their undying novelty.
And sepia tone photographs remain ever alluring.

A domino effect of kneeling before my guilty pleasures
I'm not going to skip over while I'm in the middle
I'm going to close my lids tightly to soak in more rhythm
And to the world - I'll curse it. These time lags, they're worth it.
Efficiency's face is still unabashedly graced with
my music.
