Curtain Call Poem by Rachel Flint

Curtain Call

Rating: 4.0

You can drag out a drama if you wish to. You can add an extra act to a play of many parts and still keep your audience keen. Yet, whether you go for a blow-by-blow description of the show, the fact still remains that something is ending.

(Cancer horoscope, Daily mail.28.12.2007)

This play has run
for one year long
I thank the audience
For following
the twists and turns
I know its alot
to ask

I'm getting bored
of this
production now
Its been played
too many
times before

I think
i'll start with
something new
I dont know
the plot lines yet
only one thing
is for sure

if the worlds
a stage
I'm going to
make sure
I have top billing!
