You’re a cute substitute for the guy I’ve just lost.
But I’m afraid you’ll never be him.
He was always good and kind,
Whereas you are the complete opposite.
Don’t get me wrong,
You’ll do for now.
Until he realises that he was meant for me.
Then my true love and I will be together forever.
And I guess there won’t be any room for you.
Don’t dismay, you kept me entertained.
You were a cute substitute,
But you can’t compete with the real thing.
