Daddy Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Daddy

Daddy

Both of us
Dad and I
rode donkey.

Four or five
I sat, in the front.

He whispered my name and
pointed at distance:
"See foxes? "

Would have died
if alone
but with him felt tiger
even so, that little…

Never saw what he showed
still felt the fear
of THE FOX.

But I lied as if seen
so simple.

Hey daddy
though sweet, life is hard
afraid I, am in need
can you come and change me
to TIGER…
