Daddy, Please Poem by Krystal McLennan

Daddy, Please

Rating: 5.0

Daddy, please wake up,
Please, don't go away,
Don't leave me here unguided,
Please, daddy, stay with me.

Please step down from that chair,
You have so much more to give.
I want my father to be my father,
Not a painful memory to stay.

Daddy, will you wake up please?
Don't end your life and leave me here.
Please don't go away today,
Daddy, did you hear me?

Please don't spend the night in the shed,
There is a family that needs you tonight.
I know your hurting, but daddy please,
Don't you see your choice will hurt?

Daddy, please tell me why,
Why did you leave me so soon?
Please, I need an answer daddy,
I need to know why.

Tonight you left me here,
Wondering if I did something wrong.
Why didn't you say you loved me one more time?
I'm lost in this world without you.

Daddy, please wake up.
I didn't want you to leave.
I wanted you to be my guide,
Here on Earth in me.
