Daisies Poem by Dr Shamim Ali

Daisies

Sprightly and sweet, daisies are a treat,
With petals so white, and centers of yellow,
They lift our spirits, they chase away sorrow.

In fields they dance, in the sun they bask,
A symbol of purity, they are free of all masks.
Their fragrance is light, their beauty so pure,
Innocent and simple, of this we are sure.

Their stems stand tall, their roots deep and strong,
Resilient and hardy, they bloom all season long.
They welcome the bees, the butterflies too,
A haven for insects, a sight to view.

With every breeze, their petals sway,
A delightful display, a charming ballet.
Their gentle demeanor, a reflection of grace,
They remind us of life's simple embrace.

Oh daisies, how you brighten our day,
A reminder to pause, to take life in play.
Sprightly and sweet, you are a treat,
With petals so white, and centers of yellow.
