Dance Away The Pain Poem by paige mee

Dance Away The Pain

I was told to dance for god,
That it was my ability.
God told me he was beat just like me,
Only a bit more intensely.

He said I was apart of his plan,
Just like Tinkerbell in Neverland.
He believed in me when no one else would.
That I could do anything I set my mind too, and that I should.

He said to ignore the people trying to pull me down,
That when I was with him,
I deserve a crown.
He said I was a princess in his eyes,
That I need to keep being tough,
And that I also deserved a prize.

I will forever believe in him,
For he will pull me out of this,
And hold my hand 'till the end.

He said to dance away the pain,
That I could even dance my way to fame.

I will be just fine,
He said that I will always shine,
He said soon Peter Pan himself,
Will come and fly me away to Neverland,
And just to stand the oain a little bit longer,

This poem i tried to imagine myself younger,
like when i was 5,
i dont get beat,
i just imagine these things.
Im 12, thanks and please check out my other poems

I had to read another one of your poems. I always enjoy them. And I'm glad you don't get beat! Take care, Keith
