Dance Of Addiction - Poem by Cheré Mason

The grass dances to the rhythmic beat
Of wind toiling high in the evergreen
Moving with ease under the strobed moonlight
Dappled images swaying in their sight
Faster and faster in the dimming night
The wind speeds up, urgency in the need
The dangerous hunger for partying’s speed
Moving, dancing, swaying right
Addiction is this fun’s lasting plight
