Dancer (She Lit The Fire In Me) Poem by Vision Ghost

Dancer (She Lit The Fire In Me)

I sit quiet in a chair and watched her sway
Motions, emotions and I forgetting the day
As her curves meet the air and paralleled me
Flames of her red hair sweeping just to see
The bosom of her embrace touching inside
My heart with outstretched arms so confide

Highland single malt that burns upon skin
Of my mouth before her kiss felt of a sin
Tracing my passions and twisting the fire
With her dance before me, finding desire
As the breath is escaping from my soul
Reuniting a kindred bliss now so whole

Amber of this drink pierced by her eyes
Blue and penetrating like clearest skies
Beating heat upon a heart so breathless
So exhausted and yet foraging her caress
That instinct of love is somehow found
She speaks this passion without sound

Every word spoken settles like a feather
Lost in winds before tender touch forever
Found my heart and held it so deep inside
Within our minds there’s nothing to hide
As I now can see so much within her love
My body races to be on wings of this dove

Minds thoughts wander in this timelessness
As the world becomes mist lost in tenderness
Between the creativity of dreams and reality
Is this kiss, this taste, this love and of eternity
As each day draws closer to forever so fast
We are entwined when all else can never last

Each new dawn awaken to this ever presence
Of her warmth enwrapped into a newest sense
That a love like this can be so real and so sure
As though forests find cliffs of a distant shore
Fire I can feel invoking burning upon my brow
Envisioned in her dance for she is my life now
