Perfection Is Flawed

Dancing In Darkness - Poem by Perfection Is Flawed

It loomed over them
Menacingly, but also
Some tried to run
And to salvage a piece
a slice
of themselves
But the others just sat
And let it engulf them
And sweep them
Into the sea
of glittery lip gloss
strapless bras
Drifting aimlessly
following what the others
were doing were doing
with their souls
Trapped within them
Dancing in Darkness
