Dancing On My Grave Poem by Alvin Mingle

Dancing On My Grave

Day to Day the peace is shattered,

As your feet stamp on my grave,

The silence, once desired, is broken,

As you dance across the nave;

Why this solemn tune?

Why this endless song?

Even as you step all over my name,

REMEMBER;

It's because of you,

I remain the same.
