Daring To Doubt Poem by Aufie Zophy

Daring To Doubt

Rating: 5.0

There are some habits, since a year or two
That seem no longer a logical thing to do
When the world got absorbed by fear
The following became increasingly weird

Daring to doubt the big pharma's integrity
Expressing such doubt, became a conspiracy

Daring to doubt decisions by the WHO or FDA
Made you a nut or nerd in almost every way

Daring to doubt the safety of new technology
Equaled almost to membership of flat earth society

When for a whole society, thinking logically
Becomes paralysed by fear and
misinformation
We will fall for any superexpensive remedy
No matter how poor its efficacy or safety documentation

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
In these times, logical thinking seems to be paralysed by fear. Anyone expressing any doubt about the elitist decisions in favor of expensive remedies and absolutely contrarian to inexpensive ones, is easily labelled as conspiracy theorist, in the class of the flat earthers. It is high time for all of us to come back to our senses.
