The name casts a spell
On the mind and the heart
In listening,
Listening to
The name,
The name of the hilly town,
How were the earlier dwellings,
How has it grown over the years
With its pristine beauty
And changes to be seen,
How the peoples and the tongues and dialects
Of the local inhabitants
Of the Himalayan area
So close to other Himalayan regions
In culture, costume, attire, physique,
Geture and manner?
