Dark Heart Poem by Victoria Revier

Dark Heart

It used to sting everytime I gazed out this window upon your face
It used to burn in my soul when you called my name
Seeing you standing there, alone. It stings in a place I can't describe
I know I can't leave you here in this dark land, alone.
But I know I can't stay here with you
It burns
I know that I love you more than you have ever been experianced
I know no one has cried for you as I have
And as I see you standing there waiting for me and only me
Nothing else matters
Hold me in this dark place forever
The world shall always be this deep hell
Though I have the power to flee, you know as long as your feet are Planted, my heart is as well forever planted in the depth of your deep, Dark Heart.
