Dark Inferno Poem by Jo Lynn Ehnes

Dark Inferno

The darkness drowns my fading light
and drags me to a cold abyss.
No comfort's found within eyesight,
my soul is plagued by satan's kiss.

I'm bound by chains in evil's lair,
where demons chant tormenting song.
They're whispering to me, 'Say a prayer,
but He'll not hear, our power's strong.'

Encircled by this taunting crew
my mind is begging, 'Leave me be, '
yet still I'm trapped without a clue
of how to set my spirit free.

Entombed within this ebon cave
I long for death to show its face.
To end my life is what I crave
as Hell's inferno I embrace.
