Dark Queen

every reminiscence
sparks a longing desire
a part of me wants to linger in the shadows
it wants to be mean
tough and
powerful
I wish to free the monster inside of me
so I won't be afraid to do 'bad things'
so I'll be feared
I want to party like an animal
and earn some ranks
so I can get some respect
and acceptance
I want to be a queen
not a princess
so people will do as I say
and want to be me
my eyes will be piercing
my body will be sexy
my stature will be menacing
and my heart built of ice
feared
I like that
feared
so no one dare challenge me
and strong
so no one can hurt me

ever again
