Dark Skies Poem by Ash Desrocher

Dark Skies

Big blue eyes,
Shimmering with hope
But behind the deep sea,
She was drowning,
Stranded upon a thousand waves
And a million hurricanes
Holding out, hoping
Someone might save her,
Yet her yells and screams
Are unable to be heard
By the people looking
Into the sea
Of darkness,
Despair,
Hopelessness,
So they continue to shine,
So that no one can see the dark skies
