Dark Water

I wade away from the shadows
Toward the sunshine
Death behind me
Life in my eyes
I come from dark water
Dark water stains my heart
But I need to proceed
The light is so bright
I feel its all I need
As I step towards the light
I fall into a stream of fright
That leads back to from were I came
Back under the dark water
.....such a shame….
