Darkness Poem by Hopeless Heart

Darkness surrounds
It’s comforting, nearly
My heart is bound
I can’t see clearly.

The dark scares me
But I like it so much,
It’s freeing,
It has this special touch,

Liking it is bad,
Leaving it is worse,
Missing it is sad,
Having it is a curse.

It’s easy to understand,
Well for me anyway,
Here, I’ll give you a hand
So you can too, one day.

I love the darkness
It’s where I want to be,
It’s bliss,
It’s a part of me.
