the pain is penetrating,
crawling under my skin.
fear is what i live on,
my hope is wearing thin.
faith is walking away from me,
fear is all i have.
the words of love and kindness,
no longer forms a path.
all the good inside me,
is hiding in the dark,
i try to let in the sun
and hear the calling lark
the wing is whistling
the rain is pouring down
the darkness and the pain
turns my warm smile into a cold frown.
my love for you is wilting
like a weak old rose
love is slowly leaving
as hate quickly grows
i wander through the night
my memories are faing
happiness now leaves
love is turned to hating
i want to keep in loving
just like i onced did
but hate just keeps on shoving
pushing its way in
i know that someday ill save myself
all the hate will go away
i will love you once again
but for now you just cant stay
