Darkness Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Darkness

Darkness

Cave, river, well and wall, and plains
Have always made great prophets
See David, John, and Mohammad
Before and after, this line, extends.

Dark, darkness, depth, away must be best
Sitting and watching in silence.

Her legs, heels, dress and the rest
I observe, thinking in darkness
And of he, and they, all of them.

Hiding in the dark for lightness
Salem is, and cottage, my place.
