Darkness Poem by Jamee Paxton

Darkness

Rating: 4.0

Twisted and warped
Hanging on a dream
Listen to me scream
As I climb the walls of insanity
My mind drifts away
Inside the chaos and confusion
It rains fire and ice
Tragedy and agony
Laced with
Fear and misery
Live inside my soul
Drowning in a flood
I swim in a sea of diaster
As darkness surrounds me
I begin to dink into
Forever!
Never to return!

An insightful depiction of life at its deplorable lowest ebb - acute depression; well articulated and nicely brought forth in good poetic diction with conviction. Thanks for sharing Jamee.
