Darkness falls like compressed cotton
No, not falls, but darkness tightens
Constricting thought, head, and heart
Not even breath from body depart.

I would like to translate this poem
When darkness falls on me, I just sit there wondering if it will ever be light again. I have lived in darkness most of my life, blaming everyone for what my mother did. I tried to find my way, but I kept hitting those dreaded dead ends that plague us through life. This is a well written piece, and tells it like it is. Thank you sharing. Hugs, Barbara
