'Do you love' I heard the rain sing
Is this real or just a dream
For this is not a dream that forever at me stares
This can not be a dream but a horrible nightmare

'Do you love' I heard the thunder roar
Alas, my heart was to heavy to soar.

'Do you love' I heard the wind sigh
No more my sprit to be high

'I do love' I answered them all
'Does he love' they returned my call

Yes he does love
This I know
But it is not me that he loves so.
