Darkness Follows Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Darkness Follows

Darkness Follows

O night, dead serious,
Dead descendance of emptiness,

While the stars gleamed in their distant circles,
The cold wind rushes the fugue,

Deemed i not the man to be lonely tonight?
Deemed the darkness touched the rooms of the lonely poeople,

Demed death, destructions,
The multiple parallels of this unkind planet,

When everything is taken from the sun,
Ignores you man her noble prince,

Sleep then with the inglorious night,

Sleep then in your restless nights to eternity,
Say once and we have given our love to beauty,

Sleep weathered man from your grandeur,
After the conquering of space,

After the celebrations of the celestial bodies,

After the sunlight, the darkness follows
