Darkness Sings - Poem by Briana Knight

Sweet as trembling waters.
Voice soft as silk, it desires.
Coaxing our fears and keeping our tears.
It Calls
To that reckless part of us.
The side that wishes not to reason.
The side that feels alone.
It promises
Comfort in the night
Absolutly no light.
Someone to hold along with cold.
It caresses
it's fingers stun you, making you lost with no desire to be found.
Feeling nothing. The cold leaves a gruesome mark.
Stealing the very beat of your heart.
Darkness sings.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

The ispiration is a person whos name I can't seem to remember. But he said that darkness calls because we answer. That's true so I came up with this and hope he realy likes it.
