I Too, Have Been Through Poem by Briana Knight

I Too, Have Been Through

Rating: 5.0

Why think ye, dear child, that ye stand alone?
Surely, I too, though mine time hath gone.
I hath been stepped upon, also left to be singled.
Thy's heart is not the only one to hath been mingled.
Now, silence thine crying lips against all complaint
Fight for what is your, have some bloody restraint.
The world owes you eveything, though will render nothing.
Hold fast to born abilities, that is your something.
As a child you feel as if it should all be about thee.
I have long since stop crying 'what about me? '
Things will get better when t'is your time to control.
Untill then, dear child, sit silently to watch the beauti unfold.
