Darkness Taking Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Nighttime falling all around us, darkness taking over the
environment, lights from a stage shining, cutting through
it's shadowy presence.

Music jumping and jiving, not being interrupted as it plays
melodies one right after another in joy and happiness, noth-
ing to slow it down or take it away.

All of us enjoying it to the fullest, watching notes interiorly
running up and down chords of a piano, finding pleasure in the
beauty of this night and it's music.
