Daruman... Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Daruman...

Daruman,
Why do you make them drink
So much of daru
That they keep not them to themeselves,
Stagger and fall down on the roads,
Into the drains,
From the rooftops and balconies, Daruma?
Intoxication is in daru, not in bottle,
But my suggestion,
Daru pilaana magar khub beshi nahi,
Agar wei bachangei tabhi naa daru piyengei
Aur tumhari sharab ki bikri hogi.
(Make you drink daru but not in excess,
If survive they only then they will be able to drink daru
And your wine wine will be sold.)
Did you understand?
But your problem,
You understand it not.
