Dastboos Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Dastboos

Dastboos

Daily write some poems
Some are nice; some are waste
My muse are readers
They teach me
I love them.

New is, Bard I learned
From man far away
Corner of USA.

Do not know who he is
Though I did little search
And found him as poet.

In Gaelic, British, a bard meant
Professional composer, verse-maker
And would be employed by patron.

The job was to praise the patron's ancestors.

I come of old culture
All the kings did the same
They paid men for the change.

History is rich with
The Chaploos
Receiver to praise paymaster.

Most writings and poems of old days
Need to be verified in detail
Were the lords so great?

Must ignore who and when! ! !
