Dawn Poem by james watkin

Dawn

Rating: 5.0

To others a pleasant reception
At Day's entrance warm looms.
The gracious chance once more to prowl
Sight's and sound's expanding rooms.

To one, still unadapted to life
With quick-to-hide nature
The unhinging cause, and shattering
Of each sense-aperture.
