After a twelve-hour bus ride,
The dark gloomy sky sets in,
The brightness of the day runs in to hide,
Then the darkness of the night celebrates its big win.
Day to day activities are called to a stop,
Then ever living soul around the world goes in to rest.
Except the I-know-all burglar who has a motto that says 'work till you drop'.
Then the birds of the night open their eyes and crawl out of their nests.
The creepy crawlies of the night come out to play,
Hunting their victims in the silence of the night.
Skillfully executing all missions before the hours of the day,
Even the thief in the dark plans his work before God says again, 'let there be light '.
And when the light comes again,
The day creatures come out once more.
To execute their missions with might and main,
And make things much more better than before.
