Day-Care In Heaven - Poem by Nancy A. Waters

It was time to start the day like they always had
Time to learn and have fun and for that they were glad

As the children arrived they found it was time to play
But their time became short on that particular day

Soon a noise rang out and they all looked to see
Their world coming apart before they could flee

Then God reached down to take the hurt away
His hand held out for them to come play

So they traveled away and left their families behind
But in the comfort of God's arms they knew they were fine

And soon they were playing in the day care above
As God watched over them with everlasting love

He oversees this day-care in a very special way
For the sign on the door says "Angels at Play"

Dedicated to the memory of all the children
that lost their young lives in Oklahoma and to all their families
