Day Care

Rating: 5.0

Day care

She was a water bomb
-appeared in Hijab
-with her came little son
-they went out through gate
-soon after they returned
-the boy seemed an orphan
-busy, she, was behind
-in a turn I saw her
-looking like: "I am lost! "

I speak Arabic
-did guess that: "Is Muslim."
-I said in Arabic: "Can I help? "

This is me and my way
-I dig well for myself
-rarely turns treasure
-most of time fire, hell…

She said that wanted to get Uber
-then went on: "…but cannot…"
-needed to take son to the day-care

In waiting for friend and colleague
-I was not in rush so stepped in
-I took them in my car, was near…
-next address she wanted was too far,
-she had to be there on a said time
-I could not!

So became water bomb shed tears
-she spoke of her pains; "No husband…"
-I did not want to know more or much
-everyone in Egypt envies her
-here, she lives in hell
-I recalled the neighbours and grass
-her words are in my heart
-they act as a dagger in spine
-I gave her directions; then after:
-"Here is bus stop…"
-I said and drop her…
