Daydream- Courtesy Of Jonathon P Barton A Ninja In His Own Time

I saw you standing, staring at the sky,
The stars and moon, shining bright.
You turned and stared, with your burning eyes,
Whispered words to me, that were only for me to hear.
The same words still echo in my ear.

I saw your hand reach for mine,
My heart fluttered as it did the first time.
You lead me to a quiet place, and sat me down,
You told me that none of this was real and true.
I begged you, no, I did not want you to go,
Then I felt myself coming to.

I opened my eyes from my day dream,
Looked in front, my eyes starting to stream.
There you lay, in your final resting place,
The look of peace upon your face.
My ears still rung with your words,
I love you, forever and ever babe.
