Days Come And Go Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Days Come And Go

Tears in my eyes, glistening with my love as
they fall to their demise without you to catch
and preserve them in your precious heart.

Days come and go, good and bad, all stuck to-
gether in the glue of sorrow as it fills spaces
where you used to live.

Now even you're too sad to try and do anything
at all, leaving me bereft and forsaken alone
on this earth, no longer with you.
