Dead, Done And Gone Poem by Hebert Logerie

Dead, Done And Gone

As elaborated, it's done
The passion is gone
You went left, and I, right
Things are out of sight and tight
There's nothing in common
Between you and I. Now, I am a demon
And you, the angel of death
Oh! I am neither brute nor deaf
Our union is dead, done and gone
We have nothing in common
You now live in Mars
What a lunatic! What a farce
Everything is dead, done and gone
You have moved on, flown on
And I must not defy my instincts
Now everything sucks and stinks
For now. My heart is afire
And I am in pain, in destitute attire
The trash can is full of ash
That's our past, in a flash.
