Dead Feelings ~ Mrtva Osjećanja - Poem by Jankovic Zoran

You said quietly:
"I'm coming to you
for five years
and I stay forever."

I knew you were fantasizing
but I felt it
as if you were there.
It was 5000 kilometers
far away from me.

Here after a month
loudly telling you:

"If in 5 years
At least you come to sleep
in my closeness
you'll be like you are
5000 kilometers
far away from me."

They are dead feelings,
dreams and reality only
duration without meaning.

Mrtva Osjećanja

Rekla si tiho:
"Dolazim kod tebe
za pet godina
i ostajem zauvijek."

Znao sam da maštaš
ali sam se osjećao
kao da si tu.
Bila 5000 kilometara
daleko od mene.

Evo posle mjesec dana
glasno ti govorim:

"Ako za 5 godina
bar u snu dođeš
u moju blizinu
bićeš kao da si
5000 kilometara
daleko od mene."

Mrtvim osjećanjima su
i snovi i java samo
trajanje bez smisla.

A well-conceived poem...That is what we call, very near and yet so far...sometimes, the nearness doesn't mean physical closeness...as long as you are connected by heart..distance doesn't matter. (Report)Reply
