Dead Night - Poem by nicola burkett

Late last night she arrived
By early morning she had died
Family called no one could be found
Her family not their no family around
Her falling breath so ill so weak
Gone was the life in her eyes the rose in her cheeks
A smile on her face now she had passed
Finally now she could rest at last
